Four Overdue Boaters Rescued Near Biloxi
The Coast Guard and partner agencies rescued four overdue boaters on Jan. 31, 2023, after searching in the vicinity of Biloxi Bay near Biloxi, Mississippi. The boaters, a 42-year-old woman, a 37-year-old man, a 12-year-old girl, and an 11-year-old boy, had been aboard a 19-foot red and white Mako skiff before going missing. Coast Guard Cutter Tiger Shark located the disabled vessel in the Gulfport Shipping Channel near Gulfport. A Coast Guard Station Gulfport 24-foot Special Purpose Craft-Shallow Water boatcrew came alongside the skiff.  ·  ·
