Coast Guard Assists Aground Sailboat Off Fort Morgan
Coast Guard Station Dauphin Island assisted two boaters and one dog after their sailing vessel ran aground about 2 miles offshore Fort Morgan, Alabama, on Feb. 5, 2023. A 29-foot Response Boat-Small boatcrew and a 45-foot Response Boat-Medium boatcrew towed the disabled vessel, then passed the tow to a TowBoatUS vessel.  ·
