Four Boaters Rescued After Three Days Adrift Near BVI
Coast Guard and British Virgin Islands authorities rescued four men Jan. 11, 2022, from a disabled vessel that had been adrift for three days near the British Virgin Islands. The boaters, one French national and three Dutch nationals, were aboard the 30-foot recreational vessel Water Baby. They had been traveling Jan. 9 from Anguilla, British Virgin Islands, to the Caribbean Leeward Island of Saint-Maarten when the vessel reportedly ran out of gas.  ·  ·  ·
