Five Rescued from Boat Fire Off Moss Landing
A Coast Guard Station Monterey 47-foot Motor Lifeboat crew rescued five people from a 48-foot cabin cruiser named II Knotty after it caught fire two miles offshore of Moss Landing near Monterey, California, on June 10, 2024. After those aboard were evacuated, the Station Monterey crew started towing the vessel to shore while the Monterey Fire Department extinguished the fire.
