The Coast Guard is searching for two 65-year-old Virginia Beach boaters reported overdue after failing to return Monday from a sailing trip to the Azores, Portugal. Their sailboat is Kyklades.

Coast Guard Fifth District command center watchstanders received a report on June 17 from the daughter of one of the boaters, who said she had not received any communication since they departed and was concerned for their well-being. No return date had been set, but June 20 had been anticipated.

Search coordinators are tracking cell phone and radio pings and working with counterparts in Bermuda to determine a search area for air crews.

The Coast Guard asks anyone with information about the vessel or those aboard to call the Fifth District Command Center at 757-398-6390.
