Coast Guard Assists Disabled Boat 55 Miles Off Freeport
Two people aboard a disabled 26-foot center console vessel were adrift 55 miles offshore Freeport, Texas, on June 19, 2022. A Coast Guard 45-foot Response Boat-Medium crew from Station Freeport towed the vessel to a point 40 miles south of Freeport. Commercial salvage personnel then took over the tow and brought the boaters ashore.  ·
