Coast Guard Rescues Nine from Lake Erie Ice Floe
U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Detroit and Station Marblehead responded Jan. 22, 2024, to a report of nine ice fishermen stranded on an ice floe near Catawba Island on Lake Erie. The Coast Guard rescued the nine people from the ice floe.
