Coast Guard Rescues Hiker at God's Thumb Cliff
A U.S. Coast Guard helicopter crew from Air Facility Newport, Oregon, rescued a hiker trapped on a cliff side at God's Thumb in Lincoln City, Oregon, on March 14, 2026. The Coast Guard said the rescue was carried out through its partnership with North Lincoln Fire and Rescue.
