Coast Guard Overflies Oahu Floods, 7 Rescued

An MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew from Coast Guard Air Station Barbers Point in Kapolei flew over a flooded neighborhood in Waialua on the north shore of Oahu on March 20, 2026.

The Honolulu Department of Emergency Management issued mandatory evacuations for communities in Waialua and Haleiwa after heavy rainfall and flooding across Oahu.

Coast Guard and Navy aircrews rescued seven people and one dog during the flash floods on Oahu Friday.
