Coast Guard Rescues 5 from Sinking Lancha Off South Texas
A Coast Guard Station South Padre Island 33-foot Special Purpose Craft, Law Enforcement crew interdicted and rescued five people from a sinking lancha off southern Texas on Aug. 15, 2022. The SPC-LE crew launched to intercept the lancha, saw it was taking on water, and took the five fishermen aboard.
