Coast Guard Rescues 5 After Capsizing Off Nawiliwili
Coast Guard Station Kauai rescued five people from the water on Dec. 10, 2024, after their vessel capsized offshore Nawiliwili Boat Harbor in Lihue. A Coast Guard 45-foot Response Boat-Medium responded after notification of the capsized vessel. Crew members assisted the five people aboard, then righted the vessel and bailed water from it outside the harbor.  ·  ·  ·
