Coast Guard Rescues 2 Boaters Off Boca Grande
A Coast Guard Air Station Clearwater MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew rescued two adrift boaters on Aug. 4, 2024, during Tropical Storm Debby. The boaters' 34-foot sailing vessel had lost its sail 73 miles off Boca Grande. They were taken to Air Station Clearwater with no reported injuries.
