Coast Guard Medevacs Teen 51 Miles Off Freeport
The Coast Guard medevaced a 15-year-old boy who lost consciousness about 51 miles south of Freeport, Texas, on Aug. 6, 2024. A helicopter crew arrived on scene and transported him to the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston in stable condition.
