Coast Guard Rescues 2 Boaters, Dog in Atchafalaya Bay
A Coast Guard Air Station New Orleans MH-65 Dolphin aircrew rescued two boaters and their dog in Atchafalaya Bay, Louisiana, on Feb. 12, 2022, after their vessel began taking on water. The aircrew used a hoist basket during the rescue. The two boaters and dog were later at Harry P Williams Memorial Airport in Patterson, Louisiana.
