Coast Guard Rescues 5 Off Matagorda Bay
A Coast Guard Station Port O'Connor boat crew responded Feb. 12, 2022, to a vessel beset by weather about 8 miles offshore Matagorda Bay, Texas. The crew safely transferred and transported the five people aboard to the Port O'Connor Fishing Center. The vessel was left behind because of weather conditions and will be salvaged by the owner once weather permits.  ·
