Coast Guard Medevacs Tanker Crewman Off Corpus Christi
A Coast Guard Air Station Corpus Christi MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew medevaced a 33-year-old crew member from the tanker Atlantic Loyalty on March 17, 2023, about 32 miles offshore Corpus Christi, Texas. The crew member was experiencing stroke-like symptoms. An Air Station Corpus Christi HC-144 Ocean Sentry crew provided communications and oversight during the medevac. The helicopter crew brought the man aboard and transported him to CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital in Corpus Christi.
