Coast Guard Medevacs Man from Ranger 85 Off Point Loma
The Coast Guard medevaced a 68-year-old man from the charter fishing vessel Ranger 85 about 40 miles off Point Loma in San Diego on Sept. 14, 2023. Ranger 85 contacted Coast Guard Sector San Diego Joint Harbor Operations Center watchstanders to request a medevac for the man, who had a laceration requiring a higher level of medical care.
