Coast Guard Medevacs Tanker Crewman Off Corpus Christi
A Coast Guard MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew from Air Station Corpus Christi hoisted an ailing crewman from the crude oil tanker Gem No. 5 about 50 miles southeast of Corpus Christi, Texas, on Sept. 15, 2023. The man had reportedly been sick for days. The helicopter crew transported him to Spohn Hospital Corpus Christi - Shoreline.
