Coast Guard Medevacs Man 220 Miles South of Dutch Harbor
A Coast Guard Air Station Kodiak MH-60 Jayhawk aircrew medevaced a 48-year-old man from the 550-foot container ship FPMC 33, 220 miles south of Dutch Harbor, Alaska, on Jan. 11, 2023. The aircrew hoisted the patient and transported him to Cold Bay for a wing-to-wing transfer with LifeMed Alaska personnel, who took him to a higher level of medical care.  ·
