Coast Guard Medevacs Cruise Passenger Off Galveston
A Coast Guard Air Station Houston MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew medevaced a 57-year-old woman from the Royal Caribbean cruise ship Allure of the Seas on Jan. 23, 2023, about 50 miles southeast of Galveston, Texas. The passenger was unconscious and was reportedly suffering from a possible stroke. The crew brought the woman and a nurse aboard the helicopter and transported them to the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston.  ·  ·
