Coast Guard Assists 4 on Catamaran Off Surfside Beach
A Coast Guard 45-foot Response Boat-Medium crew from Station Freeport was conducting a boarding on a 27-foot catamaran on Jan. 5, 2023, when the vessel began taking on water about 10 miles off Surfside Beach, Texas. The Coast Guard assisted the four people aboard. A Coast Guard P6 dewatering pump was later seen on the deck of the catamaran while it was moored at Freeport Marina in Freeport, Texas.  ·  ·
