Captain Billy Haver's Mayday Call About Murder On Board
The U.S. fishing boat Captain Billy Haver hailed the Coast Guard via Channel 16 on September 23, 2018 to inform them that one crewmate had attacked another crew member with a hammer. The captain initially had trouble with his radio as that same crewmember had also attempted to destroy the vessel's antenna. The incident took place 55 miles off the coast of Massachusetts. Crew member Freddy Meave Vazquez was charged with one count of murder and one count of attempted murder relating to the incident.

Omg. Can you just imagine this!? When you're on a boat, and there is water all around you and you know that a MURDERER is literally right there, only a few metres away.....(on a boat) and they have a HAMMER and they could be killed at any moment. Dear God!!! My handle is 'Pink Flamingo' and I recon they wouldn't have taken me seriously if I'd have said it was me.  |
