Well, I don't know how to post gore pictures or videos, so this is my tiny contribution to the site. If you don't think these are the BEST cookies you ever had, go ahead and set yourself on fire, and throw yourself out a 5th story window. Just make sure you film it and post it here on DR. 1/2 cup butter, softened. 1 cup chocolate chips 1/2 cup walnuts or pecans, chopped 3/4 cup white or brown sugar 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 egg 1/3rd cup cocoa powder 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1 cup all-purpose flour A. Measure out the flour. Put the salt and baking powder into the flour cup and set aside. B. Put the sugar in the mixing bowl. Add the vanilla to the sugar. Add the butter. Mix until creamy C. Add the egg to the mixing bowl. Blend thoroughly. D. Add the cocoa and blend thoroughly. E. Add the flour to the mix. You might want to just blend it in with a spatula rather than using the mixer. F. Add the chocolate chips and nuts. Again, you might want to blend with a spatula rather than a mixer. Make sure they are evenly distributed through the dough. G. Place in spoonfuls on a baking sheet. I use baking parchment when I do this, but it is not strictly necessary, because the butter works well to keep the cookies from sticking. Make the cookies the size you want. I make them smaller, so I get more cookies, but you can make them as large as you want. A heaping normal spoon makes nice-sized cookies. H. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes. Take out and let cool. They need to be at least semi-cool to be removed from the cookie sheet, as they are very delicate when they are hot. Generally, after about 10-15 minutes, they can be removed from the cookie sheet to a plate. They are perfect for eating at this point. I For the cookies you don't eat, put them on a paper plate in a baggie in the refrigerator. Let me know what you think of this recipe. I have many more recipes, all of which I consider the best in the world for their particular item, whatever it might be for. I have been collecting them for over 40 years. Only the best recipes make the cut for me. I will post more, and different recipes, if people like them. Maybe there can be a category for them, such as "Alternatives to Zombie Food". We'll see. |

Only thing I deferred from the instructions was ½ cup of chocolate chips just because I like less chips I'm my cookies, 2 tsp of vanilla extract I always add twice what any baking recipe recommends with vanilla extract and after cookie portions were put on baking sheet I refrigerated for one hour. Makes their shape hold a bit thicker when cooking. Great recipe though. I'm going to make again because they rocked. |

OK then! If you like them, then send me a nude pic. Please don't send me a pic of how you died in a car accident, torn to pieces by a bus that hit your car. I'd much rather have a nude. (Tastefully posed, of course!) |
