I saw an HBO special (I think) years ago where they just dipped cats in scalding water and then cut their fur off while they were alive... I was so angry. That is their culture I guess. Same thing with dogs...and not to sound like a bleeding heart liberal - the dolphin kills...especially in the one cove...that is just so fucked up to me... And I agree - its not what they are eating (outside of the dolphins and wales that they LIE about) - its how it is done...

that too... they are gorgeous animals! we've always released all the blue sharks we've caught.... some of the charter fishing companies that worked on the dock with me would kill the poor things for no reason... just poach it. sick fuckers.  |

i saw that too, i think... or a similar vid. it was posted here before it was pulled for showing animal cruelty. made me fuckin sick. dolphins and whales are different.... dolphins, some scientist say, should be considered non-human persons. they have a very complex neocortex... one of the smartest animals on Earth. |

im not sure.. i think the uric acid comes from purine, which is in all animals and is especially found in the internal organs... but i cant remember. i know i've heard about it before....  |
