Trailer Strike Destroys 45-year-old Penang Pedestrian Bridge
On February 5, 2020, a trailer struck a 45-year-old pedestrian bridge in Penang, Malaysia, after the driver misjudged the vehicle's height. The bridge was damaged beyond repair and demolished the following day. The local government was suing the transport company.
