A tractor-trailer carrying frozen pizzas struck the Mabelvale Pike overpass on Interstate 30 in Little Rock, Arkansas, on August 9, 2017. The top of the trailer clipped the bridge and tore open, and the tractor jackknifed and separated from the trailer.

The load came down across the westbound lanes about a mile east of Interstate 430, along with diesel fuel from the tractor. Hundreds of frozen DiGiorno and Tombstone pizzas were left scattered over the roadway and the shoulder.

No one was injured. Crews shut the westbound lanes for the cleanup and had all lanes open again by 5:30 p.m., more than four hours after the crash. The overpass came away with superficial damage and Mabelvale Pike stayed open.
