The Firefighters took a beating on this one.

CCTV footage of the blast at a chemical factory in Arganda del Rey, near Madrid on Thursday May 4, was released by authorities on Monday. Over 30 people were injured in the explosion. Firefighters arrived at the factory just seconds before the explosion, workers could be seen fleeing the factory building. Following the explosion firefighters attempted to extinguish the flames with hoses.

Hats off to the fire fighter who goes to help a man, gets obliterated by an explosion, has the sense to shuffle under the firetruck for safety, check himself for injuries, then carry on his duties

Well spent money, if you ask me. One thing to note, however, is the number of firefighters that don't get the leisure of enjoying those benefits.
