Top Drive Falls at Drilling Rig on September 15, 2016
A top drive crashed down at a drilling rig on September 15, 2016. Two workers had been standing in the area where it landed moments earlier, but moved clear before the equipment fell. A hydraulic line was reported to have failed, with fluid spraying before the brake could no longer hold the load.
