Not entirely correct, the UEL and LEL from methane are 16% UEL & 4.4% LEL What means that in this case the Oxygen/Air And Methane mixture was in a perfect balans for a explosion. Probably if he has done the fire trick Before emptying the tank Nothing would have happend Because lack of Oxygen. But since they emptied the tank the space got filled with fresh air, being sucked in while pumping the shit out. Creating the perfect fuel to air mixture for this awesome explosion  The best results you get with Acetylene or Hydrogen. Both need almost zero Oxygen to reach the explosive state *Edit: UEL = Upper Explosion Limit LEL = Lower Explosion Limit |
