Russia - Powerful Well Explosion
"A powerful explosion and fire at the Severo-Labatyuganskoye field in the Surgut region. Previously, the incident happened during repair work on one of the wells. The fire has already been extinguished, and there were no casualties in the incident."

This makes me think of the old movie with John Wayne called “Hellfighters” where they crane a barrel of nitroglycerin and explode it over the fire. Somehow it removes the oxygen from the air and puts the fire out. It’s called, “Fighting fire with fire.”  |
