Bonfire Explosion
Explosion at the San Giuseppe bonfire: wounded in the Tamburi district of Taranto, Italy. A strong explosion occurred during the lighting of a bonfire illegally organized on the street on the occasion of Saint Joseph’s day in the Tamburi district of Taranto. Several people, including some minors, were injured. Three were transported with ambulances to the hospital, one in red code and two in yellow code. Among these is a little girl who, according to sources, was treated with some stitches. The explosion would have been a petrol can left too close to the flames. At least five other people in addition to the little girl later went to the hospital to be treated. Following the explosion, the stacked material, including wooden doors, was thrown tens of meters away, overwhelming some of those present. |

Looks more like a fuel vapour explosion. I doubt the can had anything to do with it. |
