Re: Police Officer Arrested After Car Explosion Reveals Cocaine

Battery for this car is probably in the trunk. Shorted it out to the point of explosion from the starter is my first guess.
I don't understand that battery scenario. Nobody was starting the car when it exploded. It was only being fueled.

Now that I think about it, there was no spark or fire at all. The explosive force was focused from the trunk. If it was an ignition of vented gas, the people certainly would have smelled it beforehand, especially the pump attendant.

I think that we witnessed a pressure failure of the fuel tank.

Maybe they rigged it incase it ever would be searched. They opened the hood & a little delay & the trunk explodes. I was expecting the front to explode since they were doing something in there.

I'm thinking that static electricity played a part.

Am I the only one giggling at all the white powder everywhere? I mean she might have been okay if it all caught fire for a little bit at least... but hey... I bet coke would blow up like flour though too. I'm kind of surprised someone wasn't standing around smoking close enough for it to have ignited the gas to make a fireball. I'm also not seeing a bunch of people scatter from the gas that just exploded everywhere, either, which bothers my brain too. Lastly... I bet EVERYONE there got yoked out of their minds.
