Pittsburgh Street Collapse Leaves Square Hole After Bus Removal
A street collapse in Pittsburgh left a large, roughly square hole after a bus was removed on October 28, 2019. The roadway appears to have been undermined by soil loss beneath the concrete slab, possibly from a long-running leak washing material away. The slab failed along what may have been previous repair or concrete-pour joints.  ·
