i think the comparison is apt. ISIS tears down artifacts and statues because they are offended by a certain history or narrative in a country, same thing with the recent "protesters" around the world.

all i know that Islam orders the destruction for it. maybe hadiths or maybe they repeating after Muhammad when he destroyed hundreds of idols after he conquered mekka

They are following the Taliban, not Islam. It's amazing that for 14 centuries there have been Islamic kingdoms, empires, and other civilizations throughout Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. Somehow, however, these artifacts survived from before the time of Muhammad, through his and his successors' rule, up until heretics thought they needed to be destroyed. |

Two things: 1). These camel fuckers and sheep impregnators are really no different than the rest of society and the population around the world who enjoy popping fireworks. If they look like they enjoy what they do for a living, can you really blame them? 2). Next time, a heads-up would have been greatly appreciated regarding the decapitation of the life-like statues. I took a drink about the same time the first statue's head was lobbed off (thinking it was human because no warning) and sprayed Dr. Pepper all over my monitor... Not cool. Great vid though... Asshole.  |
