Re: Glass Bridge Broken, Leaved 1 Dead

This is what you get when you go to 3rd world countries and think about doing sketchy shit. As many times as I've been to Indonesia, the craziest thing I did was go to Waterbom in Bali but I knew the risks and avoided anything that could potentially be too deadly.

Short list of places not to do "dangerous" activities:
most of South and Central America, vast swatches of Africa, Indonesia, Philippines, China, and really anywhere where its patently obvious the people can't afford to abide by high safety standards...basically anywhere that's cheap to do things. Price doesn't always dictate value, but it sure as hell can give you a hint... or just be stupid and die and I'm ok with that too.

Re: Glass Bridge Broken, Leaved 1 Dead

I'm guessing they actually made it all of glass, as opposed to asking those who have made these in the past, which use a composite of glass on top of a thick acryllic or polycarbonite substrate.

The "what could possibly go wrong" would be "an internet trained 'engineer' that used window glass from HomeDepot" maybe?
Highly possible.

Speaking of Indonesia in general: There are regular buildings and bridges I wouldn't dare go in/onto there, let alone anything made of glass, lol.

The only glass I fuck with in Indonesia is I get glass lenses put in my glasses anytime I go to Indonesia.
