Daytona 250 Truck Crash Sends Driver into Barrier at 190 mph
During the inaugural Daytona 250 Truck Series race at Daytona International Speedway on February 18, 2000, a driver in the No. 15 Line-X Ford F-150 crashed into the barrier at about 190 mph on lap 57. The crash began as three trucks raced three-wide through the tri-oval on the front straightaway. The driver survived with multiple fractures.
