1900 Wicklow Freight Train Crashes Through Dublin Station Wall
On February 20, 1900, the freight train Wicklow overran the buffer stops at Harcourt Street Station in Dublin and crashed through the end wall. The train was left suspended over Hatch Street. There were no fatalities or serious injuries. Driver error was listed as the primary cause.  ·  ·  ·
