Family and friends of 22-year old Amber Bass, who was shot and killed in her sister's driveway, are anxious for the Sheriff's Office to make an arrest. July marks two years since Amber Bass was robbed and killed as she came home from a night out with friends.

Amber's older sister Robin found Amber covered in blood in the driveway, with a gunshot wound in her chest. In the days after Amber's murder, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office released a sketch of Amber's missing purse, and a photo of a car that was possibly following Amber's that night.

Detectives say they are looking for a light colored car that pulled behind Amber's car and left several minutes after. Investigators say they don't know if the driver is directly linked to the crime. Police also said that the purse she had with her her is missing as well.

There is very little information out there it seems about this case, I suspect police just have very little to go on. Yet if you find any references to this case please add them, as I was not able to find much, and would love to know more about this case.

Just not much out there. She was a victim of domestic violence although I cant find at whose hands. They also suspect these people may ge related to the crime (notice the cars) but without a witness there is no evidence.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is seeking the identity of three possible armed robbery suspects that struck on the northwest side of Jacksonville.

On September 5, 2014 the victim reported an armed robbery while at the BP Gas Station located at 5292 Soutel Drive. He advised the suspect description as a black male wearing black shorts and a black t-shirt. Video surveillance showed of two possible additional suspects involved. The original suspect is captured on video getting into what appears to be a white four door Buick after the robbery. The first of the two possible accomplices was captured on video wearing a white t-shirt and leaving the scene in what appears to be a white Cadillac. The second possible accomplice was wearing a black shirt and gray pants.
