Thank you. This was one of the first write-ups I did on this site. The Sylvia Likens case is an extremely sad one. If you haven't watched both of the films about it, I'd highly recommend them. Sad thing is (one of many), being a x con myself these scumbags would of been put on what called rule 43, changed to rule 45 now but same thing, which means they are located in a separate wing as the rest of the prison along with all the other child rapists and wrong'uns so they will never get any hassle or even get so much as a slap as they never come into contact with the. normal population. If someone somewhere wants a solution to these people then get rid of the rule 43 and let them get what they deserve. If they want to be separated from the rest of the cons then get put on lockdown 24 hours a day. Having a single cell with a tv. Duvet, curtains, shower in your on suite cell (some do), £30 a month of your own money to spend and about a tenner of the nick for spending 5 mins a day sweeping the wing once day or some other crap - well thats not deterrent is it! They even get and serve their own food so it's not fucked with. |
