10 Year Old Girl's Heart Ripped Out After Being Raped + Murdered
 On 1st June 2016, missing 10 year old girl, Raiana Aparecida Candida, was found dead on a farm in Buenopolis, Minais Gerais, Brazil 42 year old Jairo Lopes was arrested after being found hiding near the scene of the murder. The local people had rounded up to lynch Jairo. He was attacked + had cuts + bruises to his face. Raiana had been walking to school when Jairo dragged her off the street. He raped + murdered her then ripped out her heart. Raiana's body was found buried, with her heart buried nearby. Police suspect it was part of a black magic ceremony. According to an aunt, Jairo had gone to the home of Raiana, looking for work, in the week before she disappeared. Apparently, he stated that his name was Roberto + wanted to speak to Raiana's father but he wasn't home. Jairo stayed for a while, smoking a cigarette + spoke with Raiana's grandfather about trying to find work.           |
