Severe Storms Hit Guangdong, Jiangxi and Guizhou
Severe weather brought hurricane wind, hail, and heavy rain across multiple regions of China, including Jiangxi, Guizhou, and Guangdong. Rainstorm warnings were raised to yellow status. On April 18, Guangdong Province was affected by convective weather, with violent storms reported in numerous locations. More than 100 weather stations recorded heavy to torrential rainfall. In Guangzhou's Tianhe District, 47 millimeters of rain fell within two hours.
