Severe Hailstorm Hits Kunming and Parts of Yunnan
A severe hailstorm hit parts of Yunnan Province, including Kunming, on the afternoon of October 14. The storm brought large hailstones and street flooding, and affected local agriculture and urban infrastructure. It came after several days of intensified weather across China as cold and warm air masses became more active.
