Wow, i live about a half hour from there and go there often. I remember when it hit. Crazy stuff. Whole parts of the town were wiped off the map. Took quite a while to completely recover. You could see Mercy hospital from the highway and could barely recognize it.

We used to DREAM of living in Scotland, where the winds are only moderate! Last year we had winds so strong in Tucson that it blew the whole town back in time. We lost 3 days! We are still behind the rest of the nation to this very day. Also, it made our hills UPHILL BOTH WAYS! |
