Marshall and Middle Fork Fires Destroy Superior Neighborhood
On December 31, 2021, the Marshall and Middle Fork Fires destroyed homes in a neighborhood in Superior, Colorado. Early estimates put the number of homes destroyed between 300 and 1,200. The fires also destroyed the city's water treatment plant, prompting a boil-water notice. A snowstorm was expected to help extinguish the remaining fires.  ·
