A historic winter storm brought freezing rain and road chaos to northern Mississippi, with multiple wrecks documented along I-22.

Near New Albany, a semi was wrecked on I-22 in freezing rain, and drone views showed a jackknifed semi off the road. Near Myrtle, an Amazon Prime semi was wrecked on I-22, and an ambulance traveled the wrong direction to transport a victim after a crash.

Snow plows were clearing roadways in northern Mississippi. Thick ice coated a power pole near Boonsville, and freezing rain left a tree coated in very thick ice near Corinth.
