Dongguan Roads Submerged as Rain Tops 100 Millimetres
On June 13, 2023, sudden heavy rains hit many places in Guangdong, China. In Dongguan, rainfall exceeded 100 millimeters in one hour, causing waterlogging on some urban road sections. Passers-by waded across flooded roads with water up to their waists. Many cars could not move forward because of the flooding, and some were floating on the water.
