China's First Hailstorm of 2025 Hits Pu'er and Xishuangbanna
On February 25, multiple areas in Pu'er, Honghe Prefecture, and Xishuangbanna in southern Yunnan saw China's first hailstorm of 2025. The severe convective weather was linked to a collision of cold air and brought thunderstorms, strong winds, and dense hail. In some areas, the hailstorms resembled snowfall.
