Car Sitting in California Drought Area
February 28, 2014 A car sits on the dried & cracked earth of the Almaden Reservoir in San Jose, California, on January 28. Now in its third straight year of drought conditions, California is experiencing its driest year on record, dating back 119 years, & reservoirs throughout the state have low water levels. Santa Clara County reservoirs are at 3 percent of capacity or lower. Governor Jerry Brown officially declared a drought emergency to speed up assistance to local governments, streamline water transfers & potentially ease environmental protection requirements for dam releases. ~msn.com~ |

Re: Car Sitting in California Drought Area
I think, and its pretty common its a car thats been dumped in a Almaden Reservoir as in all reservoirs, and the dirt and has burried it when the water was plenty.... now the water is not covering it

Re: Car Sitting in California Drought Area
The Almaden Reservoir has a bad reputation for cars (and bodies...some in cars, some not) being dumped into the water. I'm just surprised that this car didn't have Jimmy Hoffa driving it. |
