17 Year Old Volleyball Player Killed After She Gets Swept Away by Flooded Sewer
Due to the heavy rains in Culiacán, Sinaloa, Mexico three women were trapped in a flooded street that turned into a raging river that formed on Nicolás Bravo Avenue in the Jorge Almada neighborhood. While two of them avoided being dragged by the strong current, the third fell into a sewer. Video shows the exact moment when the young woman, identified as 17 year old A.T.d.V, is "swallowed" by the sewer. After the unfortunate fact, first aid bodies began the search for the victim who fell into the sewer, which flows into the channel. During the afternoon the rescuers roamed the tunnels where she could be with ropes and lamps, however, at nightfall, they suspended the search, so the girl's relatives continued on their own. The body of a 17-year-old was found this morning, floating in a canal 300 meters from the place she fell into the sewer. She was a volleyball player and, apparently, at the time of the incident she was going to go to practise. The young woman played with the SEBEC College team and is currently studying the third year of high school at Colegio America.       |

Maybe she knew what was there!? She could see the victim was struggling...and she thought that she would not put herself in that position! But I hear you... She might have thoughts now that will haunt her... The BIG If/f!!! I honestly think she did the right thing...imo... |
