US-Bangla Airlines Makes an Emergency Landing at Chattogram's Shah Amanat
A domestic flight operated by US-Bangla Airlines, with 171 passengers and crew on board, was forced to make an emergency landing at Chattogram's Shah Amanat International Airport. The Cox’s Bazar-bound flight, BS 141, executed the emergency landing at approximately 1:45 pm, according to Sarwar E Jahan, the airport's manager. Fortunately, there were no immediate reports of casualties. Quamrul Islam, General Manager (Marketing Support and PR) of US-Bangla Airlines, explained that the flight had departed from Dhaka Airport at 11:30 am but encountered a technical issue, necessitating the emergency landing at Shah Amanat International Airport due to the absence of such facilities at Cox's Bazar Airport.
